puppies The Bob and Carol Spector Foundation for Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is the viewpoint that animals, especially those under human care, should not suffer unnecessarily.

The goal of the Spector Foundation is to create, in western North Carolina, a model environment for the responsible ownership, care and handling of animals. We will accomplish this by supporting local animal shelters, providing classes for animal care, supporting spay and neuter programs, and through grants to organizations and individuals who support our goals.
